After Iamyouare won at Hereford Handicappers weren't nice to her and stuck her up 10lb we then went to Cartmel were she ran a creditable 3rd but ground was not to her liking a bit firm ,then of to Worcester were we were going in as one of the favourites but fell heavily at the first not the day we wanted , she was a bit sore the day after but back to it in a few days , she was going well at home a done plenty of schooling , Donald found a race at Uttoxeter few weeks ago were she was carrying a heavy weight but the aim was to get her round and enjoy herself , WELL she ran her best race in my opinion to finish second beaten a length by a horse she gave over 2 stone in weight and leaving the rest of the field 11 lengths behind ,
Iamyouare Shows Heart Again at Bangor-on-Dee
Our wonderful mare Iamyouare headed to Bangor-on-Dee for her latest run, and once again she reminded us exactly why she’s become such a favourite within the club. It wasn’t just a race — it was another display of her determination, her bravery, and that trademark willingness to give her all for her members.
The the field was competitive, and the pace was strong throughout. But true to form, Iamyouare travelled with purpose, jumped fluently, and stuck to her task when it mattered. She may not have taken home the top spot this time, but she delivered another performance full of promise to finish second behind hoe Joly smoke of the in form dan Skelton only beaten one and a half length but pulling 43 lengths from the horses behind — the kind of run that keeps us excited for what’s still to come.
Bangor-on-Dee is a track that rewards honesty and effort, and she showed both in abundance. Every stride she took was another reminder of how lucky we are to have her representing The Taking Part Racing Club.
For our members who were there on the day, it was a thrill to watch her in action. For those cheering from home, it was another proud moment in her journey — a journey you can be part of.
With £8,910 already won in prize money, a growing fanbase, and more improvement still to come, Iamyouare continues to give us days to remember and reasons to dream.
